Product Overview:
NOTICE! - What's Up PDAView for What's Up Professional and Enterprise is coming soon!
Hurd I/T has developed a version of WhatsUp Gold for the Windows Pocket PC 2002 & Palm 5 platform.
This version uses the Web-Server function within the WhatsUp Gold product to deliver a special scaled
version of the network management views for the Windows Pocket PC 2002 platform. Below we have created
a mock-up demo using the popular Samsung i700 Pocket PC telephone.
Currently we have customers with engineering staff that is always on the move and requires
the ability to view the status of their network via a Pocket PC device over wireless Ethernet
or via Cellular Data Services. The content within the demonstration is of the actual running
WhatsUp Gold Monitor Server delivering a fully functional demo of the WhatsUp Gold PDA
application. Please click the link below for a demonstration of the product.
Try the following link in your Windows Pocket PC 2002 or Palm 5 device to view the Live Demo.

For the demo version we have removed the login and password request. This feature is fully supported in the production version of the software. Below are the features of the PDA Version:
- Display of downed devices on the initial Top View page.
- Summary display of Maps with an Items Up and Services Down status.
- Scaled view of the display maps for the PDA.
- Enlarge view of the Display Map. (Must have "fit to screen" turned off).
- Detailed View of devices and services
- Network Tools option to allow PING, Port Scan, TraceRoute, and NSLookup
Our objectice with the product was to supply network engineers and operations managers a hand-held view of their network using a familiar interface around a product without the requirement of a second machine to deliver the PDA content.
